Minimum 10 years design experience in bulk material handling systems is essential; experience in design and management of large scale capital projects is an important advantage. Primarily office based, candidates will occasionally be expected to travel. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate team skills and a flexibility to work unsupervised.

Experience in managing bulk material handling systems is an advantage. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a portfolio of successfully executed project implementations and most likely have experience in project estimating and budgetary responsibilities. Primarily office based, candidates will occasionally be expected to travel. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate team skills and a flexibility to work unsupervised.


EMS-Tech is looking for full time or part time Field Service Advisors. Successful candidates will have experience in providing mechanical and or electrical field support to large scale, industrial equipment customers. Experience with breakdown support, scheduled maintenance, plant inspection, erection and plant commissioning are all important to the success of this role. Experience in bulk material handling systems is an advantage as are ACAD and engineering drawing skills. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate team skills and a flexibility to work unsupervised in the field. Candidates will be expected to travel on a regular basis.


EMS-TECH Inc. is looking for a full time Document Control Clerk. As the Document Control Clerk you will perform administrative duties in a demanding, fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities would include:

• Prepare and/or maintain project spreadsheets, schedules, reports and correspondence file using Microsoft Office.
• Assist in preparation of Quality Assurance documents.
• Interact with suppliers by phone and in person.
• Assist in organizing vendor and project information to create “Installation, Operating and Maintenance Manuals”
• Create and maintain up to date vendor drawing lists with the purpose to track receipt and status of drawings using spreadsheet software.
• Provide back up and assistance to the project and engineering staff as well as reception as required.
• Document control and administration procedures.

Candidates should possess a two year college diploma in Business or Office Administration with up to one year of related experience. Your strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively will be used on a daily basis. You should possess excellent computer skills, preferably with WORD and EXCEL.


EMS-TECH Inc. is looking for a full time Purchasing Clerk. As the Purchasing Clerk your interim reporting position is to the Project Manager and your responsibilities would include:

• Prepare procurement documents such as letters, faxes, requests for quotations, purchase orders, commercial invoices, and packing lists for senior personnel.
• Summarize quotations by preparing bid analysis forms for review with Project Managers.
• Interact with suppliers by phone and in person to discuss possible orders, including price, delivery and specifics about the order.
• Prepare separate purchase order spreadsheet for each individual project listing all purchase order numbers along with items purchased, contract prices, vendors information, delivery requirements, drawings/manuals/inspection/shipment status, etc.
• Receive, organize and circulate vendor and fabricator drawings for approval.
• Expedite orders to ensure delivery times are met, this includes general shipping and receiving duties.
• Inspect purchases/fabricated items in office and on-site for learning experience.
• Maintain and organize purchasing files, parts lists and correspondence.
• Research products, potential new technologies and suppliers for presentation to senior personnel for consideration and/or evaluation.
• Provide back up and assistance to the project and engineering staff as well as reception as required.
• Other related duties as identified by your supervisor.

Candidates should possess one year minimum/two years preferred related experience. Your strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively will be used on a daily basis. You should possess excellent computer skills, preferably with WORD and EXCEL.
