EMS-Tech Inc. sponsors a ladies fastpitch softball team that plays in the Belleville Ladies Business Softball League. The girls are very competitive and have won both 'A' and 'B' divisions titles at local tournaments over the years.
The first annual Float for ALS was sponsored by EMS-Tech Inc., as a fundraiser for ALS, (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. ALS is a devastating, but common, neurological disorder, currently affecting between 1,500 and 2,000 people in Canada.
On September 14, 2007, a flotilla of human-powered boats rowed and paddled from Belleville's Morch Marine, down the Bay of Quinte to the Scullers' clubhouse located on EMS-Tech property.
