EMS-Tech in the Community

From links with local Loyalist College, where more than twelve graduates have emerged as key players in the EMS-Tech team, to sponsorship contributions for local not for profit organizations and donations for local charitable organizations, EMS-Tech strives to live up to its role as a responsible business in the community.

EMS-Tech is very proud of its twenty year history and association with Belleville and surrounding communities.

EMS-Tech's Julia Bateman gets ready to throw some heat in Belleville Ladies' Business Softball League action.

EMS-Tech Inc. sponsors a ladies fastpitch softball team that plays in the Belleville Ladies Business Softball League. The girls are very competitive and have won both 'A' and 'B' divisions titles at local tournaments over the years.

EMS-Tech Proud Sponsor of "Float for ALS"

The first annual Float for ALS was sponsored by EMS-Tech Inc., as a fundraiser for ALS, (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. ALS is a devastating, but common, neurological disorder, currently affecting between 1,500 and 2,000 people in Canada.

Scullers Rowing Club - a friendly neighbour and partner in raising charitable funds

On September 14, 2007, a flotilla of human-powered boats rowed and paddled from Belleville's Morch Marine, down the Bay of Quinte to the Scullers' clubhouse located on EMS-Tech property.

Based on the attractive Bay of Quinte waterfront a mere walk from the EMS-Tech main office block, members of the Scullers Rowing Club are able to live out their dream of a not for profit rowing club that attracts experienced and noviced rowers from the region.
